Cave Ledenika is located in the Stresherski part of the Vratsa mountain and is 16km far form town Vratsa. The entrance is at 830m altitude. The cave has several halls the first of which is know with the name Narthex. This hall is the lowest part of the cave and in winter as well as in spring times amazes with crystal formations which gave the name of the cave. There is also a big concert hall with amazing rock formations- head of a giant, falcon, Santa Claus and others. There is also a small lake with depth not more than 50sm and people say that is “magical”. And only there in this cave can be found the insect Ledenicus also know as “light hater”.
